I met Kara a few years back and was instantly taken aback by her artistic instincts, creative approaches, and how incomparable her work was to others. So, without further adieu, I present to you,

What are your plans for the future?
After graduation I'd like to get rid of all of my stuff, travel and work on a long term photo project connecting people/culture around the world.

I worked for a wedding photography company for a few years. I've created 2 blogs and a website as well as being featured on a few blogs.

November Race/Weekly Spotlight

We've got everything in order for our November 5th race (including some crazy prizes). The race will start/end at 69 Taps in Medina. There will be 3 checkpoints (to be named later). Everyone who hits all 3 checkpoints and comes back will be entered into a raffle for prizes. But, the first one to come back will be crowned King of Medina and will be awarded with the grand prize. On a separate note, tomorrow is Wednesday which means we'll be debuting our next Weekly Spotlight. Make sure you check back for this one. Some of the content is a never been seen before Death by Decapitation exclusive.

Lets start with the basics.
Who are you guys?
Cleveland, OH Hip Hop duo consisting of Mooke and Chemist.

How, when, and where did you meet?
Over a decade ago we met in school and both shared an interest in music. We started performing as Smoke Screen in 2007.













How did you break through the initial music barrier?
Basically paying dues. We started at the bottom playing smaller venues frequently and then we moved up to doing shows more regularly at the Grog Shop, Beachland etc.. In the past 2 months we have had the opportunity to play the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The House of Blues and The Cleveland Ingenuity Festival 2011 stages. We also did our first East Coast Tour in May.
